"An exciting twist to your grandmother's famous peanut brittle, this recipe is sure to be a hit."

1 (5.5 ounce) package Werther's Original Hard Candies, unwrapped
5 pieces Werther's Original Caramels,
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon water
1 cup dry roasted peanuts
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Recommended Instructions

1. Spray cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
2. Melt caramels and hard candies with butter and water in a medium saucepan over low heat until smooth, stirring often. Add the peanuts and cook 2 minutes. Stir in the baking soda and vanilla. Immediately spread out thinly onto a cookie sheet to cool completely. Break into pieces to serve.
